Italiano Da circa una settimana è arrivata in tutte le profumerie la consueta ed attesissima collezione primaverile Chanel che quest’anno prende il nome di Notes du Printemps, una collezione dalle armoniose tonalità pastello che vanno dal rosa al viola… Avevo già espresso il mio favore per entrambi gli smalti novità in casa Chanel e si sono rivelati, come previsto, delle autentiche nuance di razza che hanno smentito anche le più scettiche.

Le Vernis Charivari 603 è una tonalità cream, color malva scuro che potrebbe ricordare leggermente Le Vernis Paradoxal 509 ma senza shimmer (anche se il cugino in questione, a mio parere, vira più verso una punta di grigio). Come al solito gli smalti in versione cream Chanel sono davvero imbattibili, si stendono benissimo ed hanno una lucidità senza pari.

Leggendo diverse opinioni l’ho paragonato a Provocation, che, a detta di molti, doveva assomigliargli… Il risultato del paragone? lo potete vedere con i vostri occhi dalle foto, sono totalmente diversi!

Inutile dirvi che Charivari 603 mi piace particolarmente; lo trovo chiccoso, sofisticato, perfetto sulle unghie corte e assolutamente da indossare già a partire da queste giornate invernali, senza bisogno di aspettare la primavera… Nel caso foste indecise comunque entrerà a far parte della collezione continuativa, quindi avrete tempo per cambiare idea… E sono sicura che la cambierete!

Le Vernis Charivari 603 is a cream shade, dark mauve that might remember Le Vernis Paradoxal 509 but without shimmer (although the cousin in question, in my opinion, veers more towards a hint of gray). As usual the nail polishes in Chanel cream version are unbeatable, they are easy to apply and they have a clarity unparalleled.

Reading other reviews I have likened to Provocation, which, according to many, was to be similar… The result of the comparison? You can see it with your own eyes from the photos: they are totally different!

Needless to say that I particularly like Charivari 603, that I find very chic, sophisticated, and absolutely perfect on short nails, no need to wait for spring… In case you’re undecided, however, it will become part of the permanent collection, so you’ll have time to change your mind … And I’m sure that will change it.

Chanel Nuit Magique VFNO 2013

Italiano Anche quest’anno la famosa VFNO, serata celebrativa della moda, è arrivata dopo tanta attesa anche a Milano; ovviamente scalpitavo già da giorni per poter provare e acquistare i prodotti della collezione Nuit Magique de Chanel.

Come tutti gli anni, dal 2010 a questa parte, sono arrivata molto presto per avere la certezza di accaparrarmi gli smalti: appena arrivata non ho potuto far a meno di notare che Chanel aveva allestito un’area interamente dedicata all’evento, che non poteva di certo passare inosservata. L’allestimento al piano -1 della Rinascente era davvero scenografico: da una parte si potevano provare gli smalti in anteprima e dall’altra provare il look make up della sfilata fall-winter 2013/2014.

Inizio a pubblicare alcune foto della serata e a breve recensirò Cosmic e Magic. Voi avete partecipato all’evento Chanel? Cosa vi ha colpite?

English This year the famous VFNO, celebratory evening of fashion, came after a long wait in Milan, of course it was already in turmoil for days to try and buy the products in the collection Nuit Magique de Chanel.

As every year, since 2010 , I arrived very early to be sure to buy the nail polishes: just arrived I could not help but notice that Chanel had set up an area entirely dedicated to the event, which could not certainly go unnoticed. The exhibition floor -1 of the Rinascente was really spectacular: on the one hand you could try the nail polishes in preview and on the other to try make up the look of the fashion show fall-winter 2013/2014.

I start to post some pictures of the evening and I review short Cosmic and Magic. You have participated in the event Chanel? What did you like?

Chanel Alchimie 591

Italiano Finalmente dopo mesi di attesa gli smalti autunnali Chanel sono approdati in tutte le profumerie; le tonalità della collezione Superstition rispecchiano pienamente il mood di stagione che ci apprestiamo ad affrontare. Negli smalti sarà impossibile non trovare il proprio preferito: ognuno ha una caratteristica diversa che a seconda dei gusti farà breccia anche nei cuori delle più titubanti.

Inizio le mie recensioni dalla nuance che sicuramente suscita maggior interesse fra tutte: Le Vernis Alchimie 591. Premetto che come spesso accade, la tonalità è totalmente diversa da come appariva nelle foto promozionali e prima di recensirla ho preferito indossarla per una giornata intera al fine di valutarne i diversi aspetti.

Se mi chiedessero di definire Alchimie in poche parole lo definirei come “un verde in veste inaspettata”. La “genialata” di questa tonalità è che ripropone in modo elegante ed innovativo il color verde oliva arricchendolo con un finish metallizzato tendente all’oro. Anche se ad un primo impatto Alchimie potrebbe ricordare Peridot, sostanzialmente sono colori piuttosto diversi: Peridot è uno smalto bi-color e nettamente più luminoso e dorato.

In conclusione, credo che questa nuance potrebbe essere sottovalutata soprattutto per il fatto che arriviamo da una carrellata di metallizzati estivi. In ogni caso una cosa è certa: presto in molti espositori troverete delle pallide imitazioni e se proprio siete in dubbio sull’acquisto potrete consolarvi con un dupe. Chanel Le Vernis Alchimie 519, in edizione limitata, ha sicuramente il punto di forza di non essere un colore scontato e anche se personalmente sono sono un po’ stanca dei metallizzati, consiglierei comunque l’acquisto per un utilizzo a stagione inoltrata per dare un tocco di luce alle cupe giornate autunnali.

In these glazes it will be impossible not to find a favorite one: everyone has a different characteristic that depending on your taste it will make inroads into the hearts of the most hesitant.

I start my nuance reviews with the one that certainly raises the most interesting of all: Le Vernis Alchemy 591. I state that as often happens, the tone is totally different from how it appeared in promotional photos and before reviewing it I decided to wear it for a whole day in order to assess the different aspects.

If I were asked to define Alchemy in a nutshell I would define as “a green robe unexpected.” The “genius” of this shade is a revised and elegant and innovative enriching the olive green with a metallic finish towards gold. Although at first sight might remember Alchimie Peridot, are substantially different pretty colors: Peridot is a bi-colored nail polish and much more luminous and golden.

In conclusion, I believe that this nuance may be underestimated especially for the fact that we come from a rundown of the summer metallics. In any case, one thing is certain: soon you will find many exhibitors pale imitations and if you are in doubt about purchasing you can console yourself with a dupe. Chanel Le Vernis 519 Alchemy, limited edition, definitely has the strength of a color not to be discounted and although personally I am a bit ‘tired of metallics, I would still recommend the purchase for use in the season to give a touch of light to the dark days of autumn.

Chanel 657 Azuré

Italiano E’ da ieri finalmente disponibile in tutte lo profumerie (o quasi) la collezione estiva L’été Papillon de Chanel. Inizio col dire che non ricordo una collezione così irresistibile e innovativa, rigorosamente in edizione limitata; i pezzi cult sono senza dubbio gli smalti e gli ombretti stylo.

Le Vernis Azuré 657 è il nuovo oggetto del desiderio che ogni donna del globo vorrà avere; un meraviglioso verde acqua cangiante, ispirato alla precedente formulazione di Péridot 531. Indossato il risultato è strabiliante, luminoso ed assume colorazioni che spaziano dal verde al blu.

Si stende benissimo ed un ulteriore pregio è dovuto al finish cangiante che facilita la stesura: anche se non siete esperte ad applicare gli smalti otterrete comunque un ottimo risultato. Definirei il prezzo di questo smalto (22 euro), vista la sua unicità e bellezza, del tutto onesto!

Azuré 657 è la nuance estiva per definizione, un must-have che sicuramente vedremo riproposto in una valanga di dupe. Se vi piace fiondatevi in profumeria, perchè garantisco che in pochissimi giorni sparirà da tutti gli espositori!

Chanel Frenzy 559

Premetto che lo smalto che preferisco della collezione Les essentielles de Chanel è Vertigo 563, ma se avessi dovuto scegliere solo uno dei tre smalti proposti, avrei invece scelto senza ombra di dubbio Chanel Le Vernis Frenzy 559.

Lo definirei il fratello minore dell’ormai celebre particulière 505, cosi’ amato da essere introdotto nei classici della maison. Credo che con molta probabilità anche Frenzy entrerà nella lista, dato che la richiesta è altissima: nelle profumerie è già esaurito.

Chanel Le Vernis Frenzy 559 è un passepartuot, un concentrato di eleganza e raffinatezza, una tinta indefinita che si adatta benissimo ad ogni occasione. Non so definire bene la tonalità, dalla boccetta sembra grigio tenue con una punta di beige, ma indossato la tonalità è tendente al lilla.

Il successo di Frenzy era inevitabile, le tinte neutre piacciono davvero a tutte, giovani e non. L’unica pecca di questa nuance, a mio avviso, è che non sta bene con tutti i tipi di pelle; lo preferisco indossato su mani molto chiare.

A conti fatti apprezzo tutti gli smalti proposti della collezione Les Essentielles. Un consiglio su quale acquistare? Se proprio dovete fare una scelta prendete Frenzy 559, perchè sarà uno smalto del quale non potrete fare a meno; infatti quando sarete indecise su che tonalità indossare, sarà su questa nuance che cadrà la vostra scelta.

I start by saying that the polish of the collection Les essentielles de Chanel I prefer is Vertigo 563, but if I had to choose only one of the three proposed nail polishes, I wolud instead choose, no doubt, Chanel Le Vernis Frenzy 559.

I would define it the younger brother of the now famous particulière 505, so loved to be inserted in the “classics” of the Maison. I think that that very probably also Frenzy will be in the list, as the request is very high: in perfumeries is already sold out.

Chanel Le Vernis 559 Frenzy is a passepartuot, a concentrate of elegance and refinement, an indefinite color that fits perfectly for every occasion. I can not define well the hue, the bottle looks pale gray with a hint of beige, but the key is worn tending to purple.

The success of Frenzy was inevitable, everyone likes the neutral colors, young and old. The only flaw of this nuance, in my opinion, is that it doesn’t go well with all types of skin. I prefer it worn on hands very clear.

On balance I appreciate all the proposed nail polishes of the collection Les Essentielles. An advice on which one to buy? If you must make a choice, take Frenzy 559, because it will be a nail polish which you can not do without, because when you are undecided about which color to wear, your choice will fall on this nuance.

VFNO 2012: Les Twins-Sets de Chanel

Il 6 settembre a Milano si terrà la VFNO 2012, la notte piu’ attesa da tutte le amanti degli smalti Chanel. Per celebrare l’evento piu’ cool dell’anno la maison propone Le twins-sets de Chanel, una collezione composta da 3 smalti e 3 Rouge Allure da indossare in coordinato.

Ecco un anteprima delle nuance, che ad un primo sguardo sembrerebbero assomigliare a colori già proposti, ma mi riservo di valutarli alla Vogue Fashion Night Out dal vivo perchè, come al solito, le immagini non rendono giustizia alle particolarità delle nuance Chanel.

I colori proposti sono:

Delicatesse: beige rosato

Provocation: viola/prugna intenso

Infidèle: particolare sfumatura di rosa tendente al lampone

Gli smalti verrano venduti a partire dalle 20 solo presso lo spazio dedicato alla Rinascente di Milano; quindi ragazze aggiungete questi smalti alla vostra lista dei desideri perchè andranno sold-out in pochissime ore!!!

Here’s a preview of the nuance, which at first sight would seem to look like the colors already proposed but I intend to evaluate the Vogue Fashion Night Out live because, as usual, the pictures do not make justice to the particularities of Chanel nuances.

The colors are:

Delicatesse: pink beige

Provocation: purple / intense plum

Infidèle: particular shade of pink tending to raspberry

The nail polishes will sold from the 20.00 only at the space dedicated to the Rinascente in Milan, so girls add these glazes to your wish list because it will be sold out in a few hours!

Chanel Le Vernis Sky Line 567

Da pochi giorni è arrivato il tanto desiderato smalto Chanel Sky Line, che fa parte della Collezione Blue Illusion de Chanel (disponibile solo alla Rinascente di Milano), completamente ispirata ai toni del blu, che ben si adatta sia alle more che alle bionde.

Nessun nome fu mai così azzeccato, guardando Sky Line sembra di essere veramente ad alta quota…fra le nuvole!

Il colore è un particolarissimo grigio/azzurro metallizato, una nuance indefinita che considero molto innovativa; tuttavia questo smalto ha qualche problema in stesura e a meno che non siate delle guru dell’applicazione, stenderlo bene sarà un’impresa!

Chanel Le Vernis Sky Line, sta benissimo con pelli diafane e unghie lunghe arrotondate; se siete delle amanti degli smalti Chanel non lasciatevelo scappare, ma non aspettatevi uno smalto eccezionale, le difficoltà in stesura ridurranno sicuramente il vostro entusiasmo.

Only a few days came the much desired Chanel nail polish Sky Line, which is part of Blue Illusion de Chanel Collection (only available at La Rinascente in Milan), completely inspired by the the tones of blue, which is well suited to both girls with dark hair to blondes.

No name was ever so perfect, watching Sky Line seems to be very high altitude … in the clouds!

The color is a peculiar gray / metallic blue, a nuance indefinite that I consider very innovative, but this nail polish has some problems in drawing and unless you’re the guru of the application, spread good will be difficult!

Chanel Le Vernis Sky Line, goes great with translucent skin and long nails rounded, if you are a lover of Chanel nail do not miss it, but do not expect an exceptional glaze, the difficulties in applying definitely will reduce your enthusiasm
