Italiano Le Vernis Western Light è il secondo smalto proposto nella collezione Hong Kong de Chanel: si tratta di un colore estremamente indefinito.

Ad un primo sguardo dalla boccetta si presenta come un tonalità cioccolato, calda, tempestata di micro-glitter rossi, ma indossato perde gran parte del suo fascino. Western Light è così scuro da sembrare nero e solo se osservato alla luce del sole si rivela la sua naturale bellezza: i riflessi rossi si vedono benissimo e diventa una nuance davvero particolare.

Nessun problema in stesura e nessuna somiglianza con altri smalti che ho in collezione, a parte per i glitter che sono identici a quelli di Vertigo 563.

Avendo provato tutti e due gli smalti della mini collezione, posso dire che per effetto e novità preferisco Eastern Light e voi quale preferite?

English The Vernis Western Light is the second nail polish proposed in the collection Hong Kong de Chanel: it is an extremely indefinite color.

At first glance, the bottle looks like a chocolate color, warm, studded with red micro-glitter, but worn loses much of its charm. Western Light is so dark as to appear black and only when viewed in the light of the sun it reveals its natural beauty: the red highlights can be seen very well and becomes a very special nuance.

No problem in applying and no resemblance with other glazes in my collection, except for the glitter that are identical to those of Vertigo 563.

Having tried both the glazes of the mini collection, I can say that as a result, my favorite is Eastern Light and what you prefer?

Italiano Da pochi giorni alla Rinascente di Milano è disponibile la Collezione Hong Kong de Chanel lanciata per l’apertura della boutique a Hysan Place di Hong Kong. La collezione comprende tre pezzi cult: una palette di 5 ombretti, Pearl River e due nuove tonalità di smalti in edizione limitatissima, Eastern Light e Western Light.

Avevamo già visto le vernis Eastern Light in passerella per la collezione primavera/estate 2013, utilizzato come tip per la french manicure e ricordo bene di aver espresso il mio parere favorevole: sapevo che ci avrebbe stupito. Questa tonalità che riporta in vita l’ormai dimenticato 169 French Manucure è davvero un amore.

Si stende benissimo e non lascia righe. Ha una formulazione perfetta, luminoso, senza glitter o inutili fronzoli, dona alle unghie un effetto glossy che adoro. Le altre tonalità bianche della maison sembrano gialle al confronto.

Peter Philips lo ha proposto in abbinato con Western Light, base bianca e tip cioccolato, che vi proporrò nei prossimi post. Personalmente trovo che Eastern Light sia sprecato per essere utilizzato esclusivamente per una french manicure: ottiene il suo massimo splendore steso su tutta l’unghia, tra l’altro, per questa stagione, la manicure total white è irrinunciabile, si addice perfettamente al look optical che inizia ad intravedersi nei negozi. Voi che ne pensate? Amore o odio?

English A few days ago at La Rinascente in Milan is available the Hong Kong Collection de Chanel launched for the opening of the boutique in Hysan Place in Hong Kong. The collection includes three cult pieces : a palette of five eye shadows, Pearl River and two new colors of glazes limited edition, Eastern and Western Light.

We had already seen the vernis Eastern Light on the catwalk for spring / summer 2013, used as a tip for the French manicure and I remember having expressed my favorable opinion: I knew we would have been amazed. This shade that brings to life the forgotten #169 French Manucure is really a love story.

It is very easy to apply and it does not leave lines. It has a perfect formulation, bright, without glitter or frills, it gives the nails a glossy effect that I love. The other white tones of the house looks yellow in comparison.

Peter Philips has proposed it in combination with Western Light, white base and tip chocolate, which I will propose in the next post. I personally find that Eastern Light is wasted to be used exclusively for a French manicure: it obtains a peak spread all over the nail, among other things, for this season, the total white manicure is a must; it is perfectly suited to the optical look that begins to glimpse in stores. What do you think? Love or hate?

Italiano Chanel Le Vernis Emprise 569 è la nuance più delicata delle tre proposte per questa primavera da Chanel. Inizio col dire che non assomiglia a June, nè lo ricorda lontanamente: June è una tonalità particolare color albicocca, mentre Emprise è rosa, con un piccola tendenza al beige e leggerissimi riflessi argentati.

Pur essendo una tonalità soft ispirata al nude look, è molto coprente. Basterebbe anche una sola passata per ottenere un buon risultato, ma dato che la stesura non è ottimale dovrete optare per due passate.

Purtroppo non sta bene su tutte le tonalità di pelle. Dico purtroppo perchè rappresenta un passepartout a tutti gli effetti: si nota e non si nota, è elegante e se si sbecca si nota davvero poco. Emprise è la nuance fatta su misura per pelli diafane, creata per esaltarne la delicatezza, e donare un allure unica. Su tutte le altre mani (comprese le mie!) non lo trovo azzeccato…

Il sosia di Emprise è Rose Satin 463, mentre non ho riscontrato altre somiglianze con altre nuance Chanel: Pechè Nacrèe è molto perlato e Tendresse è troppo lattiginoso per essere paragonato.

Il mio giudizio? Mi piace?

Si mi piace perticolarmente e invidio chi riuscirà a portarlo nella maniera giusta, tuttavia trovo che non rappresenti un must have e a breve lo dimenticheremo.

English Chanel Le Vernis Emprise # 569 is the most delicate nuances of the three proposals for this spring by Chanel. Despite being a soft tones inspired by the nude look is very opaque. It would be enough even a single pass to obtain a good result, but since the applying is not optimal you opt for two passes.

Unfortunately it is not well on all skin tones. I say unfortunately because it represents a passepartout for all purposes: it is elegant and if it ruins you notice very little. Emprise is tailor-made for the shade diaphanous skin, created to enhance the delicacy, and give a unique allure. On the other hand (including my own!) Do not find apt …

The impersonator of _ Emprise is Rose Satin 463, while I have not found other similarities with other shades Chanel Peche Nacrèe is very pearly and Tendresse is too milky to be compared.

My opinion? I like?

I really like it and I envy those who can take it in the right way, but I find that it does not present a must have and in a short time we will forget it.
