Pochissimi giorni fa si è svolta l’attesissima sfilata Chanel Haute Couture, tra abiti da fiaba e icone futuristiche. Come al solito tutte le amanti degli smalti Chanel cercano di conoscere i nuovi trend e aggiungere alla wishlist l’ultimo smalto di grido della maison Chanel.
In questa occasione Peter Phillips reinventa la manicure, dando un tocco alle modelle di audacia , davvero particolare e chic… Purtroppo nessun nuovo smalto per le addicted.
Ho cercato di replicare la manicure della modella, l’effetto lo potete vedere in foto; l’insolita proposta Chanel si crea con, 1 passata di Le Duo Platinum Silver (non sarà rimesso in vendita) e 2 passate di Le Vernis May.

On this occasion Peter Phillips reinvents the manicure, giving the models a touch of daring, very special and chic … Unfortunately no new nail polish for the addicted.
I tried to replicate the model’s manicure, the effect can be seen in photos. The unusual Chanel’s proposal is created with one application of Le Duo Platinum Silver (will not be released yet) and two applications of Le Vernis May.

Spesso sfogliando le riviste, mi capita di imbattermi in pubblicità che sponsorizzano smalti Holo… Nel 2007 Chanel anticipa le mode, proponendo uno smalto che ha tutta l’aria di arrivare dal futuro.
Le Vernis Holographic è uno smalto argento simil-glitterato, che alla luce diretta del sole riflette un bellissimo arcobaleno di colori.
Chanel Le Vernis Le Duo Platinum Holographic o si ama o si odia: personalmente adoro questo “colore”, anche se non è adatto a tutte le occasioni. Se vi piace questo smalto nelle profumerie attualmente ho visto e testato smalti simili; tuttavia nessuno saprà regalarvi un effetto cosi Holo come quello della maison Chanel.

Chanel Le Vernis Le Duo Platinum Holographic either you love or hate: I personally love this “color”, although it is not suitable for all occasions. If you like this glaze, in beauty shops now I have seen and tested similar glazes; anyway no one will give you an effect so Holo like the one of Chanel.

Nel 2007 la maison Chanel lancia la collezione Le Duo Platinum Collection e tuttora, guardando le foto della sfilata, è impossibile staccare gli occhi dalle unghie dalle modelle.
Chanel le vernis le duo platinum silver è un particolarissimo color argento, caratterizzato da un finish cromato. La collezione è composta da due pezzi inscindibili: la base fixante e Le Vernis Silver ( senza base fissante non si ottiene lo stesso effetto metallizzato).
Il colore dalla boccetta sembra un argento qualsiasi, quasi opaco, ma una volta indossato e terminata l’asciugatura, il risultato è incredibile… INIMITABILE!
Sono pochissimi i dupe che potete trovare in profumeria (ho visto solo Gosh e China Glaze), ma attenzione nessuno vi donerà lo stesso effetto.
Chanel Le Duo Platinum Silver è una nuance impegnativa, ma sapientemente abbinato puo’ donarvi un tocco di classe adatto a ogni occasione: trovo perfetto l’abbinamento sia sulle mani che sui piedi.

Chanel Le Vernis Duo Platinum Silver is a very special silver colour, features a chrome finish. The collection consists of two inseparable parts: the Fixing Base and Le Vernis Silver (without fixing base you do not get the same metallic effect).
The color of the bottle looks like a whatsoever silver, nearly opaque, but when applied and dry, the result is amazing… Iinimitable!
There are very few dupes, that you can find in perfumes (I’ve seen only Gosh and China Glaze), but be careful no one will give you the same effect.
The Chanel Duo Platinum Silver is a challenging nuance, but cleverly combined it can give you a touch of class for any occasion: I find perfect the matching on both hands on the feet.

Quando la raffinatezza parigina della maison Chanel incontra il mondo indiano, il risultato è una collezione elegante, che interpreta al meglio la fusione di stili e culture.
Tra povertà e lusso, tutto in India risplende d’oro, dalle statue ai templi, dove le donne si vestono con sari e ornamenti dorati che ne esaltano la bellezza.
La collezione Bombay Express (disponibile in Italia solo a Milano presso La Rinascente) è interamente ispirata all’india e comprende 3 pezzi must have: La cipria Route des indies, Illusion d’ombre Nirvana (purtroppo non è arrivato a Milano) e Le Vernis Diwali.
Chanel Le vernis Diwali è un bellissimo color champagne, arricchito con tantissimi glitter oro/platino; il risultato sulle unghie è davvero raffinato, unico e le unghie risplendono come non mai.
Nessun problema con la stesura, asciuga rapidamente e sarà molto difficile trovare dei dupe. L’ho paragonato con altri due smalti, fortunatamente nessuna somiglianza: kaleidoscope è su base argento con riflessi verde muschio e marrone, mentre delight è decisamente piu’ ramato.
Chanel Le vernis Diwali è già uno smalto cult, assolutamente da aggiungere alla vostra collezione; vi basterà un solo sguardo e vi proietterà in una terra lontana, affascinante, misteriosa… Uno smalto al quale manca solo il profumo d’incenso per farvi vivere un viaggio indimenticabile!

No problem with the applying, it dries quickly and it will be very difficult to find dupes. I compared Diwali with other two nail polishes, fortunately no resemblance: kaleidoscope is based on silver with greenish moss green and brown, and delight is definitely more copper colored.

Le Vernis Chanel Nouvelle Vague 527 è lo smalto azzurro piu’ chic di sempre, una nuance che tutt’ora mi fa davvero impazzire.
Uscito nell’estate 2010 con la collezione Les pop-up de Chanel, insieme a Riviera e Mistral, è andato sold-out in pochissimo tempo.
Inutile dire che si stende benissimo, il risultato sulle unghie è delicato e di gran classe, tutt’ora un must-have per farsi notare senza esagerare.
Le Vernis Chanel Nouvelle Vague 527 amore a prima vista, destinato a durare per sempre!

Chanel Le Vernis Nouvelle Vague #527 is the most chic azure-blue nail polish as ever, a nuance that still makes me really mad.
Released in summer 2010 with the Chanel Les pop-ups collection, along with Riviera and Mistral, it went sold out in no time.
Needless to say, that it applies very well, the result is classy and gentle on your nails, still a must-have to be noticed without exceeding.

Le Vernis Delight 607 è lo smalto che indossa la modella nella campagna pubblicitaria Summertime de Chanel; tutte le addicted lo aspettavano con ansia e ora è finalmente arrivato il momento di sfoggiarlo, si, perchè Delight è uno smalto estivissimo.
Le Vernis Delight 607 è un color bronzo impreziosito da tanti glitter oro e argento, potremmo definirlo una via di mezzo tra Graphite e Gold Fingers.
Lo smalto si stende bene ed è luminosissimo alla luce del sole, ma Delight non è di certo un passepartout, è uno smalto unicamente adatto alla stagione estiva, quindi perfetto per il mare o un aperitivo sulla spiaggia.
Anche se Delight 607 è stato il più venduto in profumeria, preferisco Island 597 dal gusto nettamente piu’ raffinato e retrò.

Le Vernis Delight #607 is a bronze-colored enriched by many gold and silver glitter; we could consider it between Graphite and Gold Fingers.
The nail polish is easy to varnish and it is very bright by sunlight; but Delight is certainly not a passepartout (master key), it is a nail polish only suitable for summer, so perfect for the beach or a cocktail on the beach.
Although Delight #607 was the best selling in perfume shops, I prefer Island #597 that is more stylish and sophisticated.
