Italiano Anche se la collezione Avant-Première sembra essere un “pesce fuor d’acqua”, oggi, passando in profumeria, ho notato con piacere che Starlet 575, Paparazzi 579 e Cinéma 581 sono terminati!

Ho da subito espresso il mio parere favorevole verso Starlet ed in effetti non mi sono sbagliata: oltre ad essere l’unico in sintonia con la stagione è il più easy e chic fra tutte le nuance proposte.

Le Vernis Starlet è una tonalità ambigua, difficile da descrivere, che incorpora diverse tonalità ed ha un finish impreziosito da micro glitter oro che lo rendono elegantissimo e poco scontato.

Ho fatto il paragone con Distraction (quello che secondo l’opinione comune sembrava ricordarlo maggiormente) e la differenza la potete notare nelle foto: Starlet è più tenue e con riflessi dorati, mentre Distraction è più carico e vivace, con riflessi notevolmente diversi.

Starlet 575 entra di diritto tra i miei preferiti e se non lo avete ancora acquistato vi consiglio di fare una capatina in profumeria. Un motivo in più per acquistarlo? E’ l’unico della collezione ad essere in edizione limitata ed è una tonalità fresca, delicata, adatta a tutte le età e per ogni occasione. Ergo, lo sfrutterete e non solo per questa stagione!

English Although the Avant-Première Collection seems to be a “fish out of water”, today, passing in perfumery, I noticed with pleasure that Starlet 575, 579 and Cinema 581 Paparazzi are over!

I immediately expressed my favorable opinion towards Starlet, and in fact I was not wrong: in addition to being the only one in tune with the season it is the most easy and chic of all the nuances that have been proposed.

Le Vernis Starlet is a shade ambiguous, difficult to describe, incorporating different colors and has a micro finish embellished with gold glitter that make it elegant and not very obvious.

I made the comparison with Distraction (what the common opinion seemed to remember more), and the difference you can see in the picture: Starlet is more tenuous and with golden highlights while Distraction is more load and lively, with reflections significantly different.

Starlet 575 goes right to one of my favorites and if you have not purchased yet I recommend you to drop in at perfumery. One more reason to buy it? It is the only one of the collection to be a limited edition and it is a shade fresh, delicate, suitable for all ages and for all occasions. Ergo, you can take advantage of it, not just for this season only!

Stamattina ho deciso di indossare una tonalità scura, viste le giornate tipicamente autunnali. Ho scelto Chanel Le Vernis Steel che fa parte della Soho Collection Story proposta da Chanel nel 2010 per celebrare la riapertura della boutique di Soho.

Chi mi conosce sa che preferisco le tonalità scure e questa nuance mi piace particolarmente. Le Vernis Steel è arricchito da un finish metallico e leggerissime sfumature di blu che donano alle unghie un look forte, particolare e come dice il nome azzeccatissimo “steel”: sembrano di ferro battuto! Se non avete avuto l’occasione di acquistarlo potete utilizzare il Noir Ceramic 337, leggermente più scuro ma molto simile.

This morning I decided to wear a dark shade, given the typical autumn days. I chose Chanel Le Vernis Steel that is part of the Soho Story Collection proposed by Chanel in 2010 to celebrate the re-opening of the boutique in Soho.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I prefer dark colors and so this is a shade that I particularly like. Le Vernis Steel is enriched by a metallic finish and very light shades of blue that give a look to the nails strong and special. As the name fits perfectly “steel”: look of forged iron! If you have not had the opportunity to buy it you can use the Ceramic Noir 337, little more dark but very similar.

Chanel Beige 565

Inizialmente Chanel Le Vernis Beige 565 sembrava destinato ad essere venduto esclusivamente in America, ma da poche settimane è disponibile anche in Italia in tutte le profumerie.

Le Vernis Beige non potrà assolutamente mancare nella vostra collezione e a differenza delle altrè tonalità simili proposte da Chanel questa è molto coprente.

Il colore dalla boccetta è arricchito da riflessi perlati rosa, ma una volta indossato, i riflessi scompaiono e il risultato è chiccosissimo!

E’ una nuance d’altri tempi, che sancisce definitivamente un ritorno al nude look. Un motivo in piu’ per acquistarlo?

Se madamoiselle Coco fosse vissuta ai giorni nostri avrebbe sicuramente indossato questo colore: Le Vernis Beige vi farà fare un salto nel passato per farvi rivivere la passione di Coco per questa nuance intramontabile.

The color of the bottle is enriched with pink pearly reflections, but when worn, the reflections disappear and the result is very chic!

It is a nuance of the past, that firmly establishes a return to the nude look. Yet another reason to buy it?

If Mademoiselle Coco had lived today she would definitely wear this color: Le Vernis Beige will make you take a step back in time for you to relive the passion of Coco for this timeless nuance.

Chanel Infidèle

Non ho mai nascosto la mia preferenza per questa tonalità e già dalle primissime foto avevo dichiarato il mio amore per Chanel Le Vernis Infidèle.

Rimango un po’ sorpresa dal fatto che non abbia riscontrato molto successo. Mi piace pensare che questo sia dovuto agli swatches on-line che fanno sembrare Infidèle un rosa qualunque e propongono un’idea banale del colore.

Effettivamente questo smalto è molto difficile da fotografare e purtroppo anche le mie immagini si avvicinano pochissimo al colore reale.

Infidèle non è la classica tonalità di rosa/fucsia al quale Chanel ci ha abituate ad ogni collezione: è molto di piu’. E’ una nuance femminile, intrigante, un’incontro perfetto fra il color amaranto e il “mauve”. Inutile dire che si stende benissimo e la brillantezza è estrema.

E’ stato proposto in coppia con il rossetto Rouge Allure Velvet L’infidèle, che esalta al meglio la sensualità di questa nuance. Chi lo indosserà si sentirà desiderata, osservata, sedotta da questo twin-set che saprà farvi sentire cariche di malizia.

Chanel Infidèle e L’infidèle: MUST-HAVE!

I have never hidden my preference for this shade and right from the very first photos I declared my love for Chanel Le Vernis infidèle.

I am a little surprised that it has not found much success. I like to think that this is due to the swatches online that make infidèle look like a basic pink and propose a trivial idea of the color.

Indeed, this nail polish is very difficult to photograph and unfortunately my images are approaching very little from the real color.

Infidèle is not the classic shade of pink / fuchsia which Chanel has become accustomed to each collection: it is much more. It is a feminine nuance, intriguing, a perfect meeting between the amaranth color and the “mauve”. Needless to say, that it applies very well and is very bright.

It has been proposed coupled with the lipstick Rouge Allure Velvet The infidèle, which best brings out the the sensuality of this nuance. Who will wear it will feel desired, observed, seduced by this twin-set that will make you feel full of malice.
