Italiano Le Vernis Western Light è il secondo smalto proposto nella collezione Hong Kong de Chanel: si tratta di un colore estremamente indefinito.

Ad un primo sguardo dalla boccetta si presenta come un tonalità cioccolato, calda, tempestata di micro-glitter rossi, ma indossato perde gran parte del suo fascino. Western Light è così scuro da sembrare nero e solo se osservato alla luce del sole si rivela la sua naturale bellezza: i riflessi rossi si vedono benissimo e diventa una nuance davvero particolare.

Nessun problema in stesura e nessuna somiglianza con altri smalti che ho in collezione, a parte per i glitter che sono identici a quelli di Vertigo 563.

Avendo provato tutti e due gli smalti della mini collezione, posso dire che per effetto e novità preferisco Eastern Light e voi quale preferite?

English The Vernis Western Light is the second nail polish proposed in the collection Hong Kong de Chanel: it is an extremely indefinite color.

At first glance, the bottle looks like a chocolate color, warm, studded with red micro-glitter, but worn loses much of its charm. Western Light is so dark as to appear black and only when viewed in the light of the sun it reveals its natural beauty: the red highlights can be seen very well and becomes a very special nuance.

No problem in applying and no resemblance with other glazes in my collection, except for the glitter that are identical to those of Vertigo 563.

Having tried both the glazes of the mini collection, I can say that as a result, my favorite is Eastern Light and what you prefer?

Chanel Le Vernis Strong fa parte della Soho Story Collection ed è uno smalto davvero rock!

Come Le Vernis Steel è un colore particolarmente indefinito. Dalla boccetta lo smalto sembra colore melanzana/viola con delle sfumature tendenti anche al rosso. Indossato invece sembra totalmente diverso: è una tonalità scurissima, da vera dark lady, che alla luce del sole si illumina di riflessi viola e rossastri.

L’ho confrontato con Le Vernis Vertigo 563 e l’unico elemento in comune sono i riflessi rossi; Strong è molto più scuro indossato e caratterizzato da maggiori riflessi. Da amante degli smalti scuri non posso che amarlo e voi che ne pensate?

As Le Vernis Steel it is a color particularly indefinitely. From the bottle the nail polish color seems eggplant / purple with some nuances even red. Worn instead would seem to be totally different: it is a very dark tone for a truly dark lady, in the light of the sun glows violet and reddish.

I compared with Le Vernis Vertigo 563 and the only thing in common are the red highlights; Strong is much darker and worn characterized by higher reflections. As a lover of dark glazes I can not love it and what do you think?

Stamattina ho deciso di indossare una tonalità scura, viste le giornate tipicamente autunnali. Ho scelto Chanel Le Vernis Steel che fa parte della Soho Collection Story proposta da Chanel nel 2010 per celebrare la riapertura della boutique di Soho.

Chi mi conosce sa che preferisco le tonalità scure e questa nuance mi piace particolarmente. Le Vernis Steel è arricchito da un finish metallico e leggerissime sfumature di blu che donano alle unghie un look forte, particolare e come dice il nome azzeccatissimo “steel”: sembrano di ferro battuto! Se non avete avuto l’occasione di acquistarlo potete utilizzare il Noir Ceramic 337, leggermente più scuro ma molto simile.

This morning I decided to wear a dark shade, given the typical autumn days. I chose Chanel Le Vernis Steel that is part of the Soho Story Collection proposed by Chanel in 2010 to celebrate the re-opening of the boutique in Soho.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I prefer dark colors and so this is a shade that I particularly like. Le Vernis Steel is enriched by a metallic finish and very light shades of blue that give a look to the nails strong and special. As the name fits perfectly “steel”: look of forged iron! If you have not had the opportunity to buy it you can use the Ceramic Noir 337, little more dark but very similar.

Chanel Beige 565

Inizialmente Chanel Le Vernis Beige 565 sembrava destinato ad essere venduto esclusivamente in America, ma da poche settimane è disponibile anche in Italia in tutte le profumerie.

Le Vernis Beige non potrà assolutamente mancare nella vostra collezione e a differenza delle altrè tonalità simili proposte da Chanel questa è molto coprente.
